Description
Former South Vietnamese refugees who fled Vietnam after the war's end describe their treatment under the Communist regime and the hardships they encountered and their struggles to reach freedom. More than one million Vietnamese-Americans live in the United States, and many thousands in other democratic nations around the world, and continue to maintain a link with their heritage, and the country they had to leave behind.
