Molly has always dreamed of taking horseback riding lessons, but the lessons were too expensive. Until now! A new stable has opened up in town, and Molly convinces her parents to let her sign up for classes. Everything is great-- except that two girls at school keep making fun of Molly. She'll need to figure out a way to keep her confidence both in and out of the saddle.

Wade is staying at his uncle's ranch for the summer, but despite being athletic he has proved hopeless when it comes to riding a horse, much less the other skills demanded in a rodeo--but when Maria, sister of his new friend Javier, breaks her arm, she asks him to keep her horse in training, and Wade is forced to overcome his apprehension and really learn how to ride.

Monica takes riding lessons in Rock Creek, but she attends rival Pine Tree school. Monica wants to go to a dance at Rock Creek to help raise funds for Wild and Abandoned Horses, but she's not sure her Pine Tree friends will approve.

When faced with the possible loss of Horsefeathers Stables, Scoop gets caught up in a series of white lies which she later regrets.

Alisa and Diabolo are working as stunt doubles on the set of an adventure movies, but the Stardust stunt-riding stables in Colorado are facing bitter and underhanded competition from the High Noon stables--competition that includes dangerous sabotage.
